![]() ![]() Not really unique to this game, but always try to have some defensive units no matter what. maybe the aggressive hobgen is a better choice ? (it most certainly is haha)ģ. For example if you have a tanky team, there is no need to pick the Tanky Jull. You don't need to know each skill by heart but you can always read what the description says on what the Underlord does. I usually level up to 4 units on the field, and then if i have a decent crew I wait till I get 30g and try to never go under that limit so I get the max bonus each time.Ģ. Always keep some money, so that you get bonus gold at the next round, 10/20/30g are the steps, everything above that is a waste of time. There are three things that may help you a lot which are unique to this game and may be the reason why other auto chess games work for you.ġ. I think it is well balanced, so I don't get it what people say with meta etc. Don't just respond with "dead game" comments.) (also this should go without saying but serious answers only, please. Any helpful tips would be much appreciated! Obviously I know one solution would be to just "git gud", as the kids used to say, but for those who've actually played this game for a decent period of time, are there any bits of advice you could give me? Things I should be aware of as I play matches, synergies that work best, etc. I think I've managed to get second only once, and just barely. ![]() Next thing I know I'm getting dropped out in seventh or eighth place. I've been obsessed with auto chess games lately, and I understand how they work- you pick synergies that work together, don't be a jack of all trades, upgrade those units then ride that horse 'till it dies- however, when I get into matches with players, it always feels like the game is actively fighting against me and going out of its way to prevent me from getting the units I need, while every other player in the match is managing to get units to two or even three stars before I can manage to get a single level 2 myself. With that said, playing this game so far has been a thoroughly frustrating experience. So, I'll be honest- I genuinely want to like this game, as it's oozing with charm and personality, and makes me want to learn more about the world of DOTA and its lore (despite not actually wanting to play DOTA itself, as I 'm not a huge fan of MOBAs). ![]()
